Why purchase CP Farms wildflower honey?
Our honey is unaltered by heat or pasteurization processes (as is commercial honey), making it full of healthy enzymes. It is made from nectar collected from our Paso Robles Olive and Lavender farm which gives it a natural aroma and flavor.
More about honey
Honey naturally contains vitamins B2, B3, B and several minerals including Potassium, Zinc, Iron and Magnesium.
Honey has many uses, from a great alternative to white sugar as a sweetener, to many healing properties for immune support.
As a sweetener, add it to your next cup of tea or use it to drizzle on toast or waffles. Honey is a great natural alternative to sugar.
Due to honey’s nutrient rich content and anti-microbial properties the potential health benefits are many.
- As a Cough Suppressant: Penn State College of Medicine researchers claim that honey may offer more relief to those suffering from an upper respiratory infection and cough as an alternative to over-the-counter medicines. It can reduce a cough and sooth a sore throat.
- For its antioxidant properties: Antioxidants are powerful immune boosters that can be found in raw honey.
- For stings: Scrape the stinger out, apply a thin coat of our wildflower honey and find pain relief almost instantly. CP Farms Calendula Cream will also heal the bite. Click here to learn more.
- As an aide to seasonal allergies: Honey made from the nectar of local wildflowers has shown relief for those who suffer from seasonal allergies. It is believed that honey boosts ones immune system to strength your body’s antibodies to allergens and pollen.
Note: Infants and children under one year of age should never consume honey.
If product crystallizes over time, heat water to 150 degrees, place closed container into water until liquefied. This container is not meant for microwave.
